Why people travel from Dereham

Some treatments are worth travelling for, because experience, product choice and aftercare make the biggest difference. Annie offers Endolift for a softening jawline and loose skin under the chin, biostimulators such as Sculptra, Radiesse and Harmony CA that build collagen over months, and microsclerotherapy for thread veins on the legs.

Annie Spelman is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner and independent prescriber with over 20 years of nursing. She is a member of the Aesthetic Complications Expert (ACE) Group and carries out every treatment herself, so the person you meet at your consultation is the person who treats you and reviews you afterwards.

Getting to the clinic from Dereham

Wymondham is south-east of Dereham, and the B1135 runs between the two through the villages. Allow around 25 minutes in normal traffic.

The Orange Grove Clinic has plenty of parking. Use the postcode NR18 0BD for your satnav, and if it is your first visit and you are unsure of the last part of the journey, call 07359 836026.

Planning around a longer drive

If you are coming from further away, it helps to plan treatments with the journey in mind. Annie can talk you through which appointments can be combined and how a course can be spaced to suit you.

Some treatments need a little planning around your week. After Endolift, expect mild swelling, bruising and some tenderness for a few days, with results improving over two to three months. After microsclerotherapy, compression stockings are worn day and night for 22 days. Biostimulator results build gradually over two to six months. Annie will explain all of this at your consultation so nothing comes as a surprise.

What a first visit looks like

Your first appointment is a free, in-person consultation with Annie, and there is no obligation to go ahead with anything. She starts by talking through what you would like to change, what you have tried before and your medical history, including any medication, allergies and previous treatments. This matters for safety, and it helps her decide whether a treatment is right for you at all.

Annie then looks closely at your skin and face and explains what she can see. Her advice is honest, and her approach is simple: if we don't think you need a treatment, we won't do it. Where something will help, she explains how it works, what results are realistic, how long they tend to last, the possible side effects and the cost, so you can decide in your own time.

Prescription-only treatments are only prescribed after a face-to-face assessment with Annie, who is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner and independent prescriber. The treatment itself is then a separate appointment on a later day, never the same visit. Some skin treatments can go ahead on the day if it is appropriate and you feel ready, while others, such as laser hair removal and filler dissolving, need a patch test first. Annie carries out every treatment herself, and where a follow-up review is part of your treatment it is free of charge and booked on the day, for two weeks later.
