Five steps in one treatment
The AquaFacial works through five stages. It starts with a detox step using lymphatic drainage techniques, followed by a cleanse and peel that gently exfoliates the surface of the skin.
Next comes extraction and hydration. Congestion is drawn out of the pores painlessly while the skin is flooded with hydration. The fourth stage, fuse and protect, infuses antioxidants and peptides into the freshly cleansed skin. Finally, the treatment finishes with LED light for skin rejuvenation.
The result is skin that looks clearer, smoother and more radiant. Results vary from person to person, and they are best kept up with regular treatments.
What the AquaFacial can help with
The full 60 minute treatment is designed to target the look of fine lines and wrinkles, enlarged pores, congestion, hyperpigmentation and brown spots. Because it is gentle and has no downtime, it suits all skin types and fits easily around work or before an evening out.

The Single Express AquaFacial, at £65, is a 30 minute treatment for the face only. It is a good choice as a regular maintenance facial or when you are short of time.
The Single Premium AquaFacial and mask, at £95, is the full 60 minute treatment, finished with a mask. Monthly treatments are recommended to keep your skin looking its best.

You will be given aftercare information to take home. Follow-up reviews are free of charge and are booked on the day of your appointment, for two weeks after your treatment.

Safety
What you need to know before aquafacial
Every treatment carries risk. Nothing here replaces the consultation, where all of this is discussed with you before you consent to anything.
Not suitable if
- Active cold sores, infection or broken skin in the treatment area
- Isotretinoin (Roaccutane) within the last six months
- Sunburn or very reactive skin on the day
- Known allergy to aspirin or salicylates, or to any ingredient used
- Recent injectable treatments or other facial procedures, timed individually at consultation
- Light-sensitive conditions or medicines, for the LED step
Common and expected
- Mild pinkness or warmth for a short time
- A feeling of light suction or pressure during extraction
- Temporary sensitivity if you use active skincare
Serious risks
The AquaFacial is a low-risk treatment and side effects are usually minimal. Bruising or small broken capillaries from suction are uncommon and settle on their own. An irritation or allergic reaction to a product is rare, which is why your history and any sensitivities are checked first. Contact the clinic if you notice anything that concerns you.
Aftercare
- Wear a broad spectrum SPF 50 every day
- Avoid makeup for a few hours if you can, to let your skin settle
- Skip retinoids, acids and scrubs for 48 hours
- Avoid saunas, steam rooms and heavy exercise for 24 hours
- Drink plenty of water and keep your skin moisturised

Is there any downtime?
No. You can return to your normal activities straight away. Some people look slightly pink for a short time afterwards.
What is the difference between Express and Premium?
