Vitamin Injections in Wymondham, near Norwich
Vitamin injections are prescription-only medicines, so they always start with a face-to-face consultation with Annie, an Advanced Nurse Practitioner and independent prescriber. That consultation is where Annie checks whether you actually need an injection at all, and if you do not, she will tell you.

This treatment uses a prescription-only medicine. UK advertising rules do not permit clinics to name or promote the medicine, publish its price, or show before and after photographs of it. This page explains the treatment and the consultation. Whether it is right for you, the medicine itself and the cost are discussed with Annie in person, at a free consultation.
A prescription-only medicine, assessed in person
Vitamin injections are prescription-only medicines. That means a qualified prescriber has to assess you in person, decide whether an injection is appropriate for you, and prescribe it for you specifically.
Annie is an independent (non-medical) prescriber, so the person who assesses you and prescribes is the person who treats you, at the clinic in Wymondham. The injection is given at a separate appointment after your consultation, never on the same day.
UK advertising rules do not allow clinics to name or promote prescription-only medicines to the public. That is why this page does not list individual injections or prices. Everything is discussed at your consultation.
Do you actually need one?
Many people come in wondering whether an injection would help them. Annie's first job is to find out whether you need one at all. She will ask about your health, your diet, any medicines or supplements you take, and why you are asking.
Often the most useful next step is a blood test, so that any decision is based on your actual levels rather than a guess. Annie can arrange a private blood test at the clinic, analysed by London Medical Laboratory, and talk you through the results.
If an injection is not appropriate, or another approach would suit you better, Annie will say so. If we don't think you need a treatment, we won't do it.
When to see your GP
If you have ongoing symptoms such as tiredness, low mood or changes in your health that you cannot explain, your GP is the right first stop. Symptoms like these can have many causes, and they deserve a proper medical assessment.
If you already receive injections from your GP, please tell Annie at your consultation so your care is joined up.
Your consultation in Wymondham
Annie Spelman is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner with an MSc in Advanced Practice, over 20 years of nursing experience and a background in Primary Care. She is NMC registered and a member of the RCN and BACN.
The clinic is at The Orange Grove Clinic in Wymondham, with plenty of parking and easy access from Norwich city centre, the A47 and the A11. Every new client starts with a free, in-person consultation with Annie before any treatment is booked. It is where your medical history is checked, your goals are talked through honestly and realistic results are agreed. If Annie does not think you need a treatment, she will tell you.
Two appointments
Your consultation, then your injection
- 01 Your consultation: Annie takes a full medical history, including any medicines, supplements and allergies.
- 02 She talks through why you are interested in an injection and whether it is appropriate for you. A blood test may be suggested first, so any decision is based on your results.
- 03 If an injection is appropriate, Annie writes your prescription. Nothing is given at this visit.
- 04 Your injection appointment, on a later day: the injection is given at the clinic and Annie explains what to expect.
- 05 You are asked to wait in clinic for a short time afterwards before you leave.
Safety
What you need to know before vitamin injections
Every treatment carries risk. Nothing here replaces the consultation, where all of this is discussed with you before you consent to anything.
Not suitable if
- Known allergy to any ingredient, or a previous reaction to an injection
- Some medical conditions and medicines, assessed individually at consultation
- Bleeding disorders or blood-thinning medication, assessed individually
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding, assessed individually
Common and expected
- A brief sting during the injection
- Soreness at the injection site for a day or so
- A small bruise
Serious risks
Allergic reactions to injections are rare, but they can be serious. Annie is trained to recognise and manage them, which is one reason injections are only given after a full medical history and in clinic. If you notice swelling of the face or lips, a widespread rash or any difficulty breathing after an injection, call 999 straight away.
Aftercare
- Avoid rubbing the injection site for the rest of the day
- Keep the area clean and dry
- Mild soreness usually settles within a day or two
- Contact the clinic if the area becomes hot, swollen or increasingly painful
- Call 999 if you have any swelling of the face or lips, a widespread rash or difficulty breathing
Questions
Why are there no prices on this page?
Vitamin injections are prescription-only medicines, and UK rules do not allow them to be advertised to the public. Whether an injection is right for you, and its cost, are discussed at your consultation.
Do I need a blood test first?
Often it is the most useful first step, so any decision is based on your actual results. Annie can arrange a private blood test at the clinic and go through the results with you.
Which injections do you offer?
Because these are prescription-only medicines, Annie discusses them with you at your consultation, based on your history and, where needed, your blood test results.
What if Annie decides I do not need one?
Then she will tell you, and may suggest another approach or that you see your GP. If we don't think you need a treatment, we won't do it.
Who gives the injection?
Annie does. She is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner and independent prescriber, and carries out every treatment at the clinic herself.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please give at least 48 hours notice if you need to move or cancel your appointment, so the time can be offered to someone else. Deposits and any late-cancellation terms are shown when you book through the online booking system.
I live in Norwich. Is the clinic easy to get to?
Yes. Annie works from The Orange Grove Clinic in Wymondham, NR18 0BD, with plenty of parking and easy access from Norwich, the A11 and the A47. It is a relaxed, private and quiet clinic, and if you are unsure of the way you can call 07359 836026.
