When to call

The most serious risk with any dermal filler is vascular occlusion, where filler blocks or compresses a blood vessel. It is rare, and it is the reason filler should only ever be given by a medical professional trained to recognise and treat it. Annie is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, an independent prescriber and a member of the Aesthetic Complications Expert (ACE) Group, and you are given a number to call straight away if you notice unusual pain, whitening or mottling of the skin, or any change in your vision.

The clinic number is 07359 836026. If you are worried, call or message rather than wait. If you cannot reach us and it is urgent, call NHS 111, or 999 in an emergency.
